Dragons Blood, part 4 - And then the sparkle came

Let me present you some more dragon lines. Enjoy and comment.

Black dragon observed her silently. He was slightly bigger than her. His scales were black, darker than the night. His eyes were sparkling with dark green and his teeth shone when he moved his jaws in a grin.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my territory?” Arlene repeated.

"I do not need to explain anything to you,” he growled in return.

"You burned my village. Go search your energy elsewhere and I let you go.”

He shot her an angry look and open his mouth to attack. Arlene was quicker though. She jumped aside and cast a fireball which disrupted a rock above him. He tried to escape but the element of surprise was on Arlene's side. He bumped into a rock wall and a huge stone fell on his wing. He gave a deadly look to Arlene and closed his eyes in pain.

She was startled for she did not expect such a reaction. Three long centuries had passed since her last meeting with a dragon. He passed away. Arlene carefully removed the stone from his wing and checked his body, which slowly changed into a human form. He looked harmless with his eyes closed and a trickle of blood running down into his black hair. She took the naked man gently and slowly flied home. She couldn't let him die, she was determined to heal him and then send him away.

He grunted and muttered few words but Arlene didn't pay any attention to him. She sneaked into her garden. She casted the darkening spell so she could lift the man to the balcony unnoticed. Then she changed her form, climbed to her room and pulled the wounded dragon in. She laid him on the couch. As she was moving his body he opened his eyes for a while and looked at her with amazement. She realized she was naked and blushed.

Arlene wetted a piece of cloth and began to clean his body. When she was sure he was asleep she observed him. He was handsome. Arlene gently removed the dirt mixed with blood from his face and smelled his hair. She smiled against her will. After realizing what she was doing Arlene tossed her head and frowned. She touched his crushed arm and he groaned. His body tried to change into a dragon but he was weak, only a few black scales appeared on his chest.

"Shh, silly dragon,” Arlene whispered holding his limb firmly. She closed her eyes and began to chant softly. The spell was painful but effective. She had to cover his mouth with a pillow, so he could not scream. Luckily he passed away after a short moment. She covered him with a blanket and let him rest.
